Modified on Tue, 13 Feb at 2:23 PM

If you wish to change the colour of your screen to assist with reading (For example, if you have Irlens) please see the guide below

This guide is for Windows PCs only (i.e computers in IT suites) - It is not for Chromebooks (Laptops) which uses different software

For a Chromebook guide, click here. https://itservicedesk.kscs.org.uk/a/solutions/articles/43000721931

  • Click on the start menu and go to "All Apps"

  • Then go to "# Misc Applications" & click on "Colour Veil"

  • You'll then see the screen below & your screen will turn orange

  • To change the colour of the screen, click on the "up" arrow in the bottom left of the screen (Next to the clock)

  • Then right click on the "Colour Veil" icon. (You will see other different icons on different computers, but the colour veil icon will stay the same)

  • You can then use the screen that appears to change colour & settings - Or quit the program

  • That's it - All done!
